Ingredients
  

1 can (15 oz) of pumpkin puree

1 box of yellow cake mix

1/2 cup of unsalted butter

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp ground cloves

1 cup of chopped pecans (optional)

Whipped cream or vanilla ice cream (optional for serving)

Preheat the oven:

  • Start by heating your oven to 350°F (175°C). This ensures your cake bakes evenly and perfectly.

Prepare your baking dish:

  • Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray or butter. This will help your cake come out easily once it's baked.

Layer the ingredients:

  • First, spread the pumpkin puree evenly at the bottom of your prepared dish.
  • Sprinkle the yellow cake mix over the pumpkin, covering it completely. Don’t worry about mixing—the cake will rise and create a beautiful layer on top!
